Comparison Reports: Unveiling Project Changes with Precision

Within the Report Icon lies a treasure trove of comparison reports, generated and stored for your convenience. This section has undergone simplification for a user-friendly experience. You can now download any available report that applies to the comparison from the right-hand dropdown or double-click to access the redesigned comparison dashboard. Check out our video instructions here.

Accessing Reports:

  • Download Reports: Easily download any of the available reports from the right-hand dropdown.
  • Open Reports: Double-click to open the report and explore the newly designed comparison dashboard.
  • Recent Comparison Indicator: A new “compare” icon on the right indicates the most recently opened comparison report.

Comparison Dashboard:

The dashboard comprises three tabs and provides a comprehensive view of the changes between the target schedule and the update schedule.

  1. Overview Tab:
    • General information outlining changes between the two schedules, offering a quick glance at modifications.
  2. Cost Tab:
    • Highlights cost changes between the two schedules, with an overlay of the cash flow chart for enhanced visibility of projection variances.
  3. Details Tab:
    • Similar to the detailed section in the schedule analysis, it replaces original arcs with detailed line item data. This data can be filtered, viewed online, and downloaded for thorough analysis.

Downloadable Reports:

Just like the analytics section, downloadable reports are conveniently located in the upper right-hand corner. These reports include:

  • Summary Report: A concise overview of changes.
  • Detailed Report: In-depth information on alterations.
  • Critical Path Changes: Focused on changes affecting the critical path.
  • Full DCMA Report: A comprehensive report complying with DCMA standards.

This redesigned and streamlined section aims to empower users with precise insights into project changes. Whether you need a quick overview or detailed analysis, the comparison reports provide the tools necessary for effective project control.
